Founded in 1990, the Intonations formed when seven women from the same freshman hall had the idea to begin a women's a cappella group at the College of William & Mary.

 

Each semester, the group chooses new songs to perform that fit the interests, trends, and talents of its current members. What began as an R&B group has since expanded to perform a variety of music from pop to country to old time classics.
